Written Translation

English to Chinese translation: £70/1000 words.
Chinese to English translation: £40/1000 words.

The total number of words is based on the source/original language rather than the target language.

For an urgent delivery within 3 days, an extra 25% of the total translation fee will be charged.

Consecutive Interpreting

Consecutive interpreting is verbal interpreting after a complete sentence or phrase has been spoken.

For consecutive interpreting, I charge a standard rate of £20/hour. This does not include payment for travelling time and actual travel expenses. (Travelling time should be paid for at £10/hour, and all standard class travelling expenses should be reimbursed.)
