Written Translation

English to Chinese translation: £200/1000 words.

Chinese to English translation: £160/1000 characters.

The total number of words is based on the source/original language rather than the target language.

For an urgent delivery within 3 days, a 25% surcharge will be charged.

Consecutive Interpreting

Consecutive interpreting is verbal interpreting after a complete sentence or phrase has been spoken.

For consecutive interpreting, I charge a standard rate of £50/hour. This does not include payment for travelling time and actual travel expenses. (Travelling time should be paid for at £15/hour, and all standard class travelling expenses should be reimbursed.)

Telephone Interpreting

For telephone interpreting, I charge a standard rate of £40/hour. If the phone call is less than 40 minutes, than a minimum fee of £30/per call will be charged.
