I am a Chinese teacher and freelance translator based in the centre of Leamington Spa. I have a BA in English Language and Literature from Fudan University (Top 3 University in China) and an MA in Creative and Media Enterprises from the University of Warwick.

Having learnt English from an early age, I have a thorough understanding of the differences between Chinese and English, and can explain the most difficult grammar with very simple language. After teaching Chinese to English speakers for two years, I decided that it was time to make it into a formal project. Citrella.co.uk is not only a site that provides service information, but also a forum that encourages students of all levels to explore the language and its related culture.

As a translator, I have translated Martha Quest, a novel by 2007 Nobel Prize winner Doris Lessing, and am now working on Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks. I specialize in arts, academic, media, marketing, and travel translation, although I am also open to work in other fields such as commercial, legal and engineering translation.
